Azerbaijan F1

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix race at Baku is never your typical boring race and this year’s performance for the Azerbaijan F1 has carried on the spectacular tradition of exciting and action-packed races.  The 2018 Grand Prix kicked off with a rivalry brewing between Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton to see if either driver would join the Formula One Hall of Fame as the third ever person to take home the Grand Prix Championship five times.  Each racer current holds four championship wins and it’s all heating up between them in this 2018 Grand Prix.

Ricciardo and Verstappen take it too far at Azerbaijan F1

The two Red Bull Racing drivers, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen have both been performing incredibly so far, although Max Verstappen’s noticeably more aggressive racing style was starting to spark a few heated discussions, and unfortunately at the Baku Formula One race both Max Verstappen and Danial Ricciardo, who just won the Chinese Grand Prix 2 weekends ago, were unable to co-operate as a team and it resulted in both drivers colliding and bringing an end to both of their races.

It is unclear as of yet who will be put at fault for the Red Bull Racing collision at Baku but I’m sure we’ll find out very soon whether one of the racers were to blame.

Mercedes’ Bottas Tragedy at Azerbaijan F1

Mercedes Driver Valterri Bottas had raced amazingly well during the Baku F1 and was expected to take home the win, however, in the final few laps Bottas was unlucky enough to drive right over a small piece of debris on the track which resulted in his back left tyre shredding itself apart.  Bottas was comfortably in P1 but a second of bad luck took him right out of the race.

Lewis Finally Takes Home a Win At Azerbaijan F1

Lewis Hamilton will be celebrating tonight with his win at Baku, this will mark his first win for this 2018 season.  Although Lewis was slightly subdued during the Podium ceremony, we can’t help but think that maybe Lewis could be feeling that his win was handed to him instead of earned thanks to Bottas’ bad luck but we’re sure that Mercedes will be happy with the win at the end of the day.
