Baku Formula One

It’s almost time for the next exciting weekend of racing for Formula One fans across the globe and after last weekend’s spectacular performance by Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo and the unexpected result for both Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel.  I think I can speak for us all when I say we’re incredibly excited to see what exactly is going to happen this weekend at the Baku City Circuit when you think of the incredible speed and skill that will be on display in Azerbaijan.

Daniel Ricciardo at the Baku Formula One

After Ricciardo’s performance at the Chinese Grand Prix and the incredible strategy employed by Red Bull Racing, it may be that Ricciardo and Max Verstappen might just be able to place well at the Baku Formula One Grand Prix but only time will tell if Daniel Ricciardo can maintain his excellent overtaking strategy on the long, narrow streets of Baku.  And, who knows if Max Verstappen, who is currently boasting an admittedly quite impressive record of 10% of his races being ended due to spinouts or crashes, will be able to keep his cool and help his teammate climb the ranks again.

Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton’s Rivalry at Baku Formula One

The competitive rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel is only going to increase as time progresses and more Grand Prix races are completed.  As it stands, Sebastian Vettel is holding P1 in the 2018 Driver Standings with 54 points, followed closely by Lewis Hamilton in 2nd place with 45 points.  If the winner of this 2018 Formula One Grand Prix is either of these two amazing racers, they will join the ranks in the Formula One Hall of Fame as being the third person to ever win five Formula One Grand Prix Championships.

So far we’ve seen both Ferrari and Mercedes working incredibly hard to come out on top but with two P1 wins under his belt already this season, Sebastian Vettel seems to have the upper hand.
